There are approximately sixteen food groups given, which give you a wonderful array of food to choose from, with many varieties in each group. As you learn to eat correctly for your blood type, your body will function more properly, your metabolism will stay revved up, and your digestive system will operate more efficiently. You will be able to control your weight without dieting and live longer with less to no incapacitating illnesses.
7 Individualized Eating Plan for Type O
Throughout this book, I’ve covered all the “technical” information. Now it’s time for you to put all this information to work. It’s simple. Just make copies of the Meal Planner Chart (see Appendix A) or download it from my Web site at www.bodyredesigning.com. Then fill in your Meal Planner Chart with the meals that appeal to you in the meal plan section that follows the food lists in this chapter. You can mix and match the meals; they are not listed in any particular order. Any breakfast meal idea can peacefully coexist with any lunch or dinner from the list. Or you can create your own meals.
8 Nutritional Supplements for Type O
This chapter provides a brief list of nutrition support ideas and strategies that Dr. Joe believes will cover the bases for most people. They are foundational as far as supporting your diet (compatible with your blood type). Of course, if you have a specific health condition or concern, please consult with your health practitioner or go to the author’s Web site (www.bodyredesigning.com) and click on Healthy Lifestyles Survey. The information you input in the survey will assist Dr. Joe in being most accurate with your specific condition for individualizing your protocol.
9 Tips for Making It All Work
This chapter wraps up the author’s message, and can serve as the next best thing to having your own personal nutrition and fitness coach. He has given you the best he can on paper to get you started in the right direction and ultimately to help you reach your goals—the rest is up to you!
