All humans have been created in the image of God, given the free will to choose to follow the life-course outlined by in the Scriptures and find his favor. In The Battle for the Christian Mind, the reader will learn how to examine himself or herself as to spiritual growth, take an in-depth look at our sinful nature and human imperfection, as well as how we can become sound in mind, as we take on the mind of Christ more fully. We will learn about the battle for the Christian mind that Satan is waging against each of us. In addition, we will see how we can be transformed by the renewal of our mind. Once renewed, we will learn what it takes to keep our mind renewed. We will investigate spiritual sicknesses of mind and heart, as we learn how to deal with our destructive self-defeating thoughts. Wise Solomon urged us "above all things get wisdom; whatever else you get, get understanding." (Pro. 4:7) This, we will do as well. Finally, we will investigate exactly what the Bible has to say about the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, which is the key to it all.
